Interim Centre Management – Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre

Project Description:

During the transition phase, LARCAN provided interim management services to maintain centre operations. This included supporting day-to-day site tasks, ongoing stakeholder engagement, and assisting with operational functions. They also helped develop the centre operating budget with Council finance, covering expenses and income projections to ensure financial stability through the transitional period.

Description of Services:

• Developed centre programs and timetables aligned with community needs and operational capacity.
• Oversaw the coordinator team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and staff leadership.
• Facilitated staff training via third-party providers, including fire safety, site inductions, and plant room orientation.
• Managed contractor and supplier agreements to support operational readiness and service delivery.
• Provided support for incident management and response protocols to ensure safety and compliance.
• Delivered stakeholder and community engagement activities to support transparent communication and local alignment.
• Documented and implemented site operating procedures, including daily open and close checklists.
• Mentored and coached new staff to support confident and consistent service delivery.
• Monitored financial performance and supported budget tracking to maintain operational stability.
• Prepared and presented regular reports and briefings to Council executives, outlining progress and key updates.
